CallWay, a contact center service provider, engaged Zpoken to develop an AI voice bot to replace their contact center operators. The goal was to decrease call traffic on operators and handle more calls during peak hours. Zpoken was chosen for their experience and capability to develop challenging solutions in the AI field. The project involved integrating a conversational voice bot to the contact center's IP telephony using MRCP protocol, with speech recognition and generation handled by Zpoken's solution using machine learning and Python coding. The deliverables included receiving calls and correctly recognizing ride requests. The project was successfully completed by a team of three from Zpoken, consisting of a project manager, a machine learning engineer, and an integration specialist.
