Zoom

Zoom completed a custom software development project for Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (ADUST). The Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Department of Agribusiness at ADUST led the project. The project aimed to facilitate remote learning and collaboration during the pandemic. Zoom's user-friendly interface and screen sharing tool were key deciding factors in selecting the platform. It enabled students from remote areas to attend classes, submit presentations and assignments, and even take online exams. Additionally, the platform facilitated online seminars, workshops, and research work. The project was successful, with the screen sharing option receiving high praise.

The results of the project were overwhelmingly positive. The Zoom platform was easy to set up and use, making it possible for remote students to participate fully in their courses. The screen sharing tool was particularly useful for study projects and presentations. The platform also facilitated online exams, including viva exams, and enabled the team to conduct research work. The Assistant Professor, as an end user, appreciated the simplicity and effectiveness of Zoom's features. The administration at ADUST was responsible for contacting vendors and purchasing the product. Overall, the project demonstrated Zoom's capacity to bridge distance barriers and enhance online learning and collaboration.
