Highlights from Recent Projects
Zoocha partnered with Mydex Data Services CIC, a digital trust platform for identity and personal data, to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for launching the platform. Zoocha followed the agile approach, incorporating PHP and Javascript to build the MVP using a variety of open-source components such as Drupal, Slim PHP framework, OpenID Connect, and simpleSAMLphp for identity. They worked closely with the client's system administration team to implement automated deployment and testing for both sandbox and live platforms. The partnership, which began in March 2012, continues with Zoocha providing backend support and managing a user help feature. The client has spent more than £2 million ($2,678,182 USD) on this ongoing project.
For the outdoor and snow sports retailer, Countryside Ski and Climb, Zoocha developed a website that helped the company stand out from its competitors. The website, built using Drupal and Commerce, has undergone several updates to keep it current and effective. The team incorporated unique design ideas and functionalities to elevate the online presence of the retailer. They also integrated a legacy stock management system and performed backend database work. The project began in April 2011 and the partnership continues with Zoocha providing maintenance and monitoring uptime. The client invested between $50,000–$200,000 in this project.
Zoocha worked with Dialog Semiconductor, a company that develops integrated circuits for consumer and industrial products, to integrate various web properties into a single site. The aim was to improve the end-user experience. The project, initially focused on integrating a product and IR focused website and an e-commerce site, expanded to include a support forum and a secure document repository. The client worked with several members of the Zoocha team including a project manager, a designer, a front-end specialist, and a couple of backend technicians.
