Zettagrid Indonesia was contracted by a construction and chemical supply company to migrate their IT infrastructure to the cloud. The project involved migrating eleven servers, which included a domain server, an SAP server, two CAD servers, and five other mission critical servers for field services, lab services, document management, project services and CRM. The Zettagrid team, consisting of a Cloud Architect, Cloud Consultant, Service Delivery Manager, Technical Account Manager, and Cloud Delivery Lead, first established a VPN connection between the office and the cloud, set up a new domain server, and moved one server at a time. The migration was seamless for users, with downtime occurring during weekends or midnight, and was completed in less than three weeks with no data loss or disruption to the users. The team also set up backup services and decommissioned eight servers at the office, leaving only three operational. The company was extremely satisfied with the efficient and seamless migration and the ongoing support provided by Zettagrid.
