Zegami collaborated with Ultivue, a US-based biotech company, to exploit the rich information in tissue through image and data analysis. Zegami used their algorithm to assess the quality of digital images from the tissue and explore the information in a data-driven way. They implemented a prototype solution that combined unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques with imaging. The biotech company worked with five team members from Zegami, including a product manager. The company invested $30,000 in the project which started in June 2021 and has completed the proof of concept. The company was impressed with Zegami's scientific credibility, innovative approach, and emphasis on data-driven thought and visualization.
