Zapalean

Zapalean was hired by Uatalents, a talent platform for migrants, to enable quick iterations for the development team with automated deployments to dev/prod environments, and to make the infrastructure highly available and secure. Zapalean designed and implemented Uatalents' AWS infrastructure from scratch, transitioning from a no-code solution hosted in the cloud to a code-based solution. The AWS infrastructure included AWS EC2, Docker, AWS RDS, MySQL, GitLab, Cloudflare, and Terraform. As a result, Uatalents now has fully functioning production and dev environments connected to the DB and automation of their CI/CD process, allowing the team to release more frequently while ensuring the production is highly available.

Zapalean also provided DevOps Managed Services for a reflective technology company that builds tools to accelerate reflection in schools and beyond. The company hired Zapalean to rebuild their Cloud infrastructure, reduce deploy time, mentor in-house devops to maintain everything, create a CI/CD pipeline and auto test run, and improve security scanning. Zapalean exceeded expectations by reducing the company's deployment times by 90%, tripling the number of releases, and slightly improving stability. They also handled the company's production security assessment. Thanks to Zapalean, the company was able to streamline its operations and improve its delivery process.
