Yurops

The CEO and Founder of Trackit Labs, a data infrastructure company that provides live scores for professional padel, commissioned Yurops to improve its platform. Specifically, Trackit Labs wanted to progress from a prototype to a production-grade infrastructure that could support a live betting data feed. They tasked Yurops with developing the DevOps layer, which included containerisation, continuous integration and delivery, monitoring, and alerting for uninterrupted operation during tournaments. Additionally, they wanted Yurops to establish a quality assurance process and a data integrity validation system to meet the standards of operators and regulators.

Outline of the work undertaken by the Yurops team, composed of 2-5 members, was comprehensive. The project encompassed backend engineering, DevOps and QA for a live sports data platform catering to betting operators. Key results include a production-grade backend architecture that delivers real-time match and event data. The team successfully established containerised deployment with CI/CD pipelines. They also set up a reliable system for monitoring, alerting and logging to ensure persistent operation during live events. The automated test coverage and the data-integrity validation layer were seamlessly integrated into the system.
