YipYip

YipYip was hired by Watertaxi Rotterdam B.V., a water taxi service in the Netherlands, to create a custom iOS POS system. The goal was to transition from a manual, hand-written system to a digital administrative solution for all their trips and guided tours. The project was referred to YipYip by the IT developer who built Watertaxi Rotterdam's database system. The team, consisting of an iOS developer and a graphic designer, developed an iOS POS system from scratch, including IT architecture and graphic design.

The social app, DoToo, hired YipYip for custom backend development and consulting services. The aim was to create a reliable backend solution that connects to the frontend through a REST API. After an online search and a meeting with the YipYip team, DoToo decided to hire them. The project team varied between 2-4 people, depending on the requirements of the project stage. They successfully created a custom backend solution that was responsive to the specific needs of DoToo.

Watertaxi Rotterdam B.V. also engaged YipYip to update their website, including the integration of an online reservation system. The goal was to provide information in both Dutch and English and reduce the number of phone reservations by using an online booking API. As they were already working together on other projects, Watertaxi Rotterdam chose YipYip for this project as well. The team, consisting of a project manager, a website designer, and a website developer, designed and built the website from scratch, incorporating a few elements from the previous site. They also developed an API to interact with Watertaxi Rotterdam's backend.
