Yes We Are Mad was commissioned by Nicklaus Children’s Health System to develop a virtual reality solution for maintaining CPR competencies. The healthcare system found the task of conducting in-person recertification classes to be a time-consuming task. Yes We Are Mad built a VR application from scratch, using the American Heart Association's guidelines as the project's protocol. Unity was used for design elements, while AWS was used for servers and data flow. The company handled everything from branding to UX/UI, and even gamified the app to reward users for accuracy and speed. The VR CPR app has now developed into a full-blown platform with various training modules. The project, which was launched in January 2017, has cost the client around $425,000. The client has maintained a strong partnership with the company, which has allowed them to create innovative solutions together.
