Highlights from Recent Projects
Yakkety Yak Marketing was hired by a Colorado-based outdoor retailer to enhance its digital strategy. The retailer, feeling too small for an agency but dissatisfied with independent contractors, found the perfect balance with Yakkety Yak. The project involved an audit of the retailer's website, resulting in recommendations to better communicate its value and changes to the homepage and about section. The strategy also included driving traffic to the store and maintaining contact with site visitors. The retailer worked with a dedicated account manager and specialists in ads and email marketing campaigns. The process was seamless, well-executed, and the retailer appreciated the regular updates.
The Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo hired Yakkety Yak Marketing to produce a two-hour virtual program for their annual fundraising gala. Having previously worked with members of the Yakkety Yak team, the zoo found their working relationship to be great and decided to continue partnering with them. The production process was collaborative and involved storyboarding, scriptwriting, filming, and editing, with regular check-ins for feedback. The zoo mainly worked with the project manager and editors, who were very responsive to their edits and suggestions, ultimately delivering a fantastic end product.
Yakkety Yak Marketing was engaged by a healthcare nonprofit to develop their online resource library and assist with marketing. The nonprofit had previously worked with Yakkety Yak and found their understanding of the organization beneficial to the project. The scope of work included the development and design of an online resource library, creation of a podcast series, and assistance with a monthly newsletter journal. The nonprofit worked with an account manager, a copywriter, a graphic design team, and a video team. The engagement, which began in April 2020, has been successful and is ongoing, with the nonprofit investing $300,000 in the project.
