Xicons Studio

Xicons Studio was hired by a UX design consultant to develop a custom icon system for a mobile app. The goal for this project was to create a usable, consistent, and aesthetically pleasing custom icon system. Xicons Studio went through a process of discovery, ideation, sketching, creation, iteration, usability testing, and QA delivery. They began with understanding the business goals, visual style needs, technical requirements, user needs, deadlines, and budget. The process involved producing sketches and digital concepts for evaluation, making numerous design iterations based on the feedback, and finally delivering a preview of each symbol. The final icons were delivered after quick usability tests with real customers and final QA. The client worked directly with the founder of Xicons Studio, Carlotta.

In another project, Xicons Studio was hired by Olo Acupuncture, an acupuncture clinic in New York City, to refresh and design additional icons for their website. The goal was to have a cohesive and expanded set of icons. Xicons Studio was chosen after a time-consuming search for designers who could deliver the aesthetic they were looking for. The design process involved sketching, digital preview, and final delivery, with continuous communication throughout the process. The client was satisfied with the ease of communication and the straightforward design process. The client worked directly with the designer at Xicons Studio.
