Xicons Studio

Xicons Studio was hired by a UX design consultant to develop a custom icon system for a mobile app MVP. The goal was to create a usable, consistent, and visually appealing custom icon system. The project involved a well-defined process of discovery, ideation, sketching, creation and iteration, usability testing, and QA and delivery. Xicons Studio produced paper sketches and digital concepts for evaluation and integrated client feedback into several design iterations. The final designs were tested for usability with real customers before final QA and delivery. The client worked directly with Carlotta, the founder of Xicons Studio.

In another project, Xicons Studio was contracted by Olo Acupuncture, a New York City-based acupuncture clinic, to refresh and expand their website's icon set. The client sought a cohesive and expanded set of icons that reflected a specific aesthetic. Xicons Studio was selected for their portfolio that matched the aesthetic the client was looking for. The project involved a clear design process with sketches, digital previews, and final deliverables. The client appreciated the easy flow of communication throughout the project and worked directly with the designer.
