TELUS Digital has worked on a custom development project for a healthcare billing platform for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) of Ontario. The company was hired to modernize the archaic healthcare billing system of the WSIB. TELUS Digital built the end-to-end functionalities of the healthcare billing platform, which now allows healthcare institutions to submit their bills to the WSIB. The system automatically adjudicates 85-90% of the bills, reducing the workload of adjusters. The initial solution, launched in 2002, cost $30 million, and the WSIB now spends $8-10 million annually on maintenance and transaction components.

TELUS Digital also undertook a new product market research and UI/UX workflow project for a printer company. The company was brought on board to discuss new product development. TELUS Digital conducted market research to determine if there was a market opportunity for the new product concept. They also provided a conceptual design workflow and technical recommendations, which included everything from identity to payment options to the platform itself. The project, which began in October 2019 and wrapped up in December, cost around $200,000.

In another project, TELUS Digital provided web development audit and advising services for a furniture retail company. The company was in the middle of a two-year project to completely re-platform their website. TELUS Digital performed independent third-party audits of the company's work, ensuring everything was built in a stable and secure way. They also provided recommendations when necessary. The project, which started in December 2018, has so far cost a little over $100,000.
