Highlights from Recent Projects
Wildebeest was hired by a San Francisco-based advertising agency, Eleven Inc., to develop a website for their client, Google Cloud. The website needed to connect with live stats and generate compelling predictions of NCAA team performances during March Madness. Wildebeest's team, which included a project lead, designer, and multiple developers, used Python and AngularJS to create a web app fueled by Firebase. They designed and developed a live dashboard showing machine learning predictions and managed content without a CMS. The infographics updated instantly, and predictions had over 80% accuracy.
The company, Bread Head, a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity, hired Wildebeest to design and develop their website. The goal was to create a visually appealing website and blog that represented the work of the organization. Wildebeest designed both a desktop and mobile version of the website and blog, provided SEO, WordPress, troubleshooting time, training, and technical support. The Deputy Director of Bread Head worked primarily with the Managing Partner of Wildebeest, who relayed work to the rest of his team.
The C++ Alliance, an organization aiming to evolve and facilitate C++ by making it accessible on open-source libraries, hired Wildebeest to design their website. Wildebeest used JavaScript, CSS, and integrated a GitHub repository to build a standard design that presented the alliance as an open-source platform. They worked with two staffers from Wildebeest and invested $36,000 in the project. The website has gone live, and Wildebeest continues to provide maintenance and updates as needed.
