Wide Open Technologies was contracted by a children's fitness program organization to develop a web application. The goal was to create a platform where all franchisees could manage their businesses in one place. The project commenced with initial meetings to discuss needs and project scope. After a couple of months, the product was created and a troubleshooting phase followed to fix any bugs and make necessary enhancements. Weekly meetings were held to tweak and improve the system as more locations began using the platform. The engagement began in September 2021 and is still ongoing.
In another project, Wide Open Technologies was hired by Bearman CPA, a North Carolina-based CPA firm, to refurbish their outdated website which was established in 2007. The project started with a brainstorming session where the company's needs were communicated. Wide Open Technologies then provided suggestions for improving the platform and drafted the initial design of the new website. After gaining approval, they developed the website and customized its functionalities based on the client's feedback. They also managed the firm's SEO and PPC efforts to drive organic site traffic and enhance marketing efforts. The project ran from March to August 2021.
Wide Open Technologies was also hired by WM Wilson Company Inc, a manufacturer's rep/distributor for steam specialties and process safety equipment, to assist with data migration into a new ERP program. The company was switching to a new ERP program and Wide Open Technologies was responsible for transferring the data from the old program to the new one.
