The Webplant was hired by CE-Classes, an online education provider for behavioral health professionals, to maintain and expand their complex e-commerce website. The website not only hosts educational courses and tests but also manages a large database. The Webplant team, composed of three people including their Director, Vikram, handled major backend and design work on the site using PHP, MySQL, and WordPress for the database. The collaboration, which began in January 2011, has seen an investment of over $200,000 and is still ongoing.
The Webplant was also engaged by NewAgeMompreneurs, a community for mom entrepreneurs, to develop a social networking platform. The project involved consultation, UI design, application development, and go-live support. The Webplant, found through a local business community, had previously assisted the company with smaller data issues. The developed online networking website, built with PHP and MySQL, provides a platform for women entrepreneurs with small and medium businesses. An admin panel was also created for user and data management, and the website was integrated with Telegraph and WhatsApp for lead alerts. A team of six from The Webplant, including a project manager, developers, UI designers, and a QA specialist, worked on this project.
