Waker

Waker was engaged by a social networking platform, views, to design and develop the frontend of their MVP. The scope of Waker's work involved creating a mobile app for iOS and Android, and designing about 30 cards in InVision. The project also included a workflow prototype and a hinge slider profile. The founder of views worked closely with Waker's General Partner, Nafis, and invested between $11,000 and $13,000 in the project. The initial phase of the project started in August 2020 and was completed in October 2020, with ongoing work still in progress.

For a nursing home chain, Waker developed an iOS and Android app to improve communication between families and the nursing home facilities. The app included a dashboard that communicated with the nursing home's electronic medical records. The CEO of the nursing home chain worked with two people from Waker's team on this project, which started in July 2020 and is still ongoing. The nursing home chain invested close to $100,000 in this project.

Waker also worked with HRsoft, a human resource software company, to modernize their existing applications and introduce new solutions. Waker's team provided feedback and recommendations to improve the UI/UX of HRsoft's applications and created mockups that were incorporated into the actual software. Waker also helped HRsoft roll out new products, including a new pay equity solution and an incentive management solution. HRsoft's SVP of product worked with two people from Waker's team, investing about $6,000 a month in the project, which began in June 2021 and is still ongoing.
