VORM was hired by Lovely Inc., a company specializing in smart sex toys, to assist with industrial design, iOS and Android app development, website coding, and branding activities. The primary goal of the project was to transition from a prototype of the product, Lovely, to mass production in China. VORM was chosen as a vendor through a referral from an industrial design friend. The initial design of the product was already in place, but it required refinement and preparation for manufacturing. Meetings were held both in person and online to discuss requirements and provide feedback. VORM also developed the accompanying app from scratch, adhering to benchmarks and instructions provided by Lovely Inc. The project team was composed of individuals responsible for each specific task, which facilitated faster communication and feedback. As the project expanded, a project manager was assigned to coordinate with the team.
