VOLANSYS (An ACL Digital Company)

VOLANSYS Technologies, an ACL Digital Company, was hired by a wireless IoT company to provide system integration services. The project's main goal was to develop an open-source framework for IoT applications and simplify the OEM flashing and licensing process. VOLANSYS showcased their expertise in mesh networking, quickly grasping the proprietary algorithm of the client's legacy product, and initiating maintenance and bug repair services. They also developed an extensible real-time publish and subscribe framework and improved the flashing and licensing process with a Python to OpenWrt in-node that used licensing information in EEPROM.

In a separate project, VOLANSYS was engaged by an electric vehicle company to help launch a significant product update. The project required the implementation of new embedded controllers, RTOS, communication stack, and protocol. VOLANSYS developed Wi-Fi drivers on SafeRTOS, integrated the platform and LWIP stack, and carried out control and data path bring-up and debugging. They also performed performance and congestion testing to ensure no compromise in quality and connectivity.

Lastly, an agriculture technology company based in Vancouver, Canada, partnered with VOLANSYS for a new generation hardware and software project. VOLANSYS provided software, hardware, and electrical engineers to help build out the product and deliver it to market. They contributed to the development of the client's mobile and web apps, designed the printed circuit boards (PCBs) inside a physical hardware device, led the PCBs' production, delivered testing and certification, and validated the proper manufacturing of the PCBs. The project ran from July 2021 to June 2022.
