Vokal partnered with a large industrial distributor to develop a mobile application after their previous vendor ceased to provide satisfactory service. The team of about 10 from Vokal worked in collaboration with the client's in-house team, developing mobile architecture and overseeing the work from an engineering perspective. The application was developed to be compatible with both iOS and Android. The client met Vokal through networking and decided to give them a chance after seeing some examples of their work. The engagement started in October 2013 and is ongoing, with the client investing between $5–$10 million.

The CEO and Founder of a FinTech startup engaged Vokal to assist with the early stages of product development. Vokal helped with the initial UI development, organization, and scoping of engineering requirements for the startup's web, iOS, and Android applications. They produced a number of wireframes which formed the project’s scaffolding and then handed those plans to the startup's development team. The engagement lasted from May 2015 to September 2015, with the client investing about $100,000.

Vokal was engaged by the American Medical Association (AMA) for their mobile app development efforts. The original project was the development of the AMA Connect mobile app, which has since undergone two iterations and continues to be maintained by Vokal. The team is also working on a strategy process to determine the next phase of the platform and has developed an Alexa Skill for AMA's daily email. The ongoing engagement began in November 2017 and involves a core team of about 10 individuals from Vokal.
