Highlights from Recent Projects
Visla successfully completed an iOS MVP for a mapping service platform for a startup software company. The founder, who had no software development skills, engaged Visla to create the MVP. The company tested Visla's capabilities with a three-week project which led to the decision to continue working on the MVP. The aim was to launch the iOS app in the App Store, which involved programming in ArcGIS Runtime SDK. The Visla team, led by co-founders Eric and Andrew, also created clean, clear designs and much of the original artwork for the platform. The project lasted from February to November 2019 and cost approximately $27,000 USD.
In another project, Visla was engaged by a shipping management company to develop an Android app that would capture real-time deliveries at the last-mile point of delivery. Visla handled the frontend design and development of the application and helped integrate it with the company's existing backend transport management system. The project lasted from August 2017 to January 2018. The team of 4-6 people from Visla, including UI/UX experts, senior management, and developers, were praised for their diverse perspectives that led to a great product.
Visla also developed a WordPress website from scratch for an activities-focused hospitality brand based in San Francisco. The CEO gave Visla mockups and designs to copy and the website is currently in beta with content being populated. The project, which cost between $25,000-$50,000, started in June 2019 and the final version was delivered in November 2019. The CEO interacted with two people at Visla throughout the project.
