The Virtual Wild was hired by a nonprofit nature center to assist with a $2.5 million renovation project, specifically focusing on the creative aspects of the center's Discovery Room. The company's primary task was to create original content for 10-foot screens that were designed to provide information about the park and forest in an engaging and educational manner. The Virtual Wild was also responsible for transforming the exhibit hall into a more user-friendly space, while ensuring all visual content remained realistic and devoid of anthropomorphic forms. The project, which ran from January to July 2018, was led by the company's Founder and Managing Director, Jay, and UI/UX Designer, Sarah. The nature center invested approximately $500,000 in The Virtual Wild's services.
