Vessel Partners

Vessel Partners worked with a research university to develop a mobile application for the national Step-up-App challenge announced by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The app was designed to efficiently collect patient-reported outcomes and integrate them into electronic health records. The project was successful and the team was selected as the 1st team nationally, resulting in a partnership with a large health system in Washington D.C. to pilot the app in nine clinics. The app was made available open source after successful completion of the pilots. The university praised Vessel Partners for their commitment to making a positive impact on healthcare.

In a separate project, Vessel Partners collaborated with a medical research institute to develop a patient-facing mobile app. The app, integrated with the institute's electronic health record system, was developed for Android, iOS, and Linux platforms. Vessel Partners also created a patient registration website as part of the project. The institute selected Vessel Partners for this project based on their impressive design in a sponsored competition. The engagement lasted from January 2021 to June 2022 and was successful.

Vessel Partners was also hired by a national healthcare company that provides mental health care for kids, teens, and families. The company needed to quickly start on an application and chose Vessel Partners due to their decade-long experience in healthcare and their multidisciplinary team. The scope of the project was specific to outlined deliverables, which were improved over time. The company appreciated working directly with the founders of Vessel Partners and commended their healthcare background as crucial for some decisions.
