Vecro Tech

Vecro Tech was hired by Redhill Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust based in North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, to develop a mobile app for Post 16 students. The app was designed to contain learning materials created by the teachers, with the flexibility for teachers to dynamically load content for students. The app also had to be secure, allowing only students of the Trust to have access. Vecro Tech was chosen for their ability to work within the SharePoint environment that the Trust had started building a repository in. The project was a success, with Vecro Tech creating a new web browser front end that directed to the relevant SharePoint libraries and continuously sharing pre-release versions of the app with the Trust.

Dream Drivers, a foodservice sector company, engaged Vecro Tech to develop a web and mobile app to help scale their operations across Scotland. The main challenge was to create a system that allowed businesses to post their driver’s shifts and enabled the drivers to claim shifts or fill out their availability. Vecro Tech successfully developed a web-based admin system and a mobile app for iOS and Android that managed every aspect of the company's operations. They also revamped the company's website and currently manage their SEO. The collaboration started in July 2019 and is ongoing.

LNER, a company operating mainline rail services, hired Vecro Tech to build a mobile risk assessment tool for their station management team. The tool was designed to assess the platform/train interface risks at their stations. Vecro Tech was chosen through a competitive tender. The project involved an initial scoping session, a design phase, weekly engagement meetings, and a test phase. The project has been successful, with the final build of the mobile risk assessment tool close to being signed off.
