Vayam's responsibilities included understanding the clients' issues, challenges, and plans, configuring the product accordingly, and working with the IT department to ensure smooth operation of the system. The team at Vayam consisted of at least three people who worked regularly on multiple projects. The projects ranged from $100,000 to $500,000, exclusive of licensing fees and other costs. The engagement began in 2012, and despite Mercer no longer offering the product, Vayam continues to work with some of the customers from the original engagement.
