Vaporware

Vaporware designed and developed the frontend of a web application for a telecommunications company. The application, which provides online quotes for telecommunication services, was designed to simplify and automate the quoting process for the company's channel partners. The project, which took place from March to October 2018, involved gathering requirements, designing project blueprints, and building the prototype and first-stage MVP. The company invested around $250,000 in the project and worked with a team from Vaporware that included a product lead, a design lead, and a developer.

Vaporware was tasked with building a custom web application for Imurj, a collaborative art and music space. The application, which serves as a member directory and event calendar, was built using Ruby on Rails and integrated with WordPress. This allowed Imurj to create its own pages. The project, which started six months prior to 2016, had a budget of between $50,000 and $100,000. Two developers from Vaporware were assigned to the project, which is ongoing as there is always more to be done.

Vaporware developed a prototype for a business communications company. The goal of the project was to convert the company's alpha product into a deliverable prototype. The company, which did not have a CTO at the time, needed to build something quickly to get to market. Vaporware was chosen for the project due to their high recommendation from a colleague and their expertise in prototype development. The project involved planning, designing, configuring, and developing the prototype. The team from Vaporware, which included co-founders Dan and Jeff as well as a dedicated engineer, had to work through several unique use cases to meet the needs of the company's users and clients.
