The Value Engineers

The Value Engineers were hired by the Sempervirens Fund, a forest conservation organization, to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into their existing and potential audiences. The goal was to generate brand, behavioral, and other insights. The firm was chosen for their high ratings, proximity, affordable pricing, cultural fit, value for cost, alignment with company values, and a strong connection with the team lead. A team of 2-5 employees from The Value Engineers was assigned to this project. The scope of work included internal alignment, external exploration, and a path forward. These stages involved logistics, project management, hypotheses, review of past analyses, outline of inquiries, quantitative study, preliminary analysis, data review, qualitative IDIs, survey, analysis plan, toplines, analysis and data review, review session with core team, draft and final reports, and presentation to staff and board/map of business strategy implications.
