Vaimo

Vaimo was hired by a European home improvement company to develop their eCommerce solution. The company, which was among the first in the building materials industry in Sweden to go online, chose Vaimo based on their proximity and the positive impression they made. Vaimo developed the frontend and backend of the eCommerce solution, provided training to the company's eCommerce personnel and continues to support the solution in day-to-day business. The company initially used the Magento community edition but is currently switching to the Magento enterprise edition. The project, which started in 2011, is ongoing with new functionality and services being added regularly. The company has spent approximately $1 million on this initiative.

A custom sneaker consignment store hired Vaimo to solve inventory issues in their eCommerce system. Vaimo was selected for their strong creative team and impressive visuals. They provided a large design component and considerable Magento customization. While another vendor handled the backend integration, Vaimo was the dedicated design and development team. The store continues to use Vaimo for maintenance and support on a month-to-month basis and has several ongoing projects with them aimed at upgrading and enhancing their online presence.

A retailer hired Vaimo to develop a multi-site e-commerce platform for serving B2C and B2B clients. The goal was to have world-class design and features fully integrated into their enterprise resource planning software. The retailer chose Vaimo for their expertise in South Africa. Vaimo developed a functional Magento frontend and backend according to the retailer's requirements. They then repurposed that framework across five of the retailer's brand websites and did further work to upgrade the UI, UX and integration services after the launch. The development team from Vaimo consisted of six people, led by a project manager.
