Vaimo

Vaimo worked with a retailer to create a multi-site e-commerce platform for B2C and B2B clients, aiming for world-class design and features. The retailer's internal team handled most of the CMS pages, while Vaimo was responsible for the development of a functional Magento front and backend. The UI was then applied to five other brand websites, with substantial upgrades done post-launch. The team from Vaimo was led by a project manager and consisted of six members in total.

Vaimo was engaged by a European home improvement company to develop an eCommerce solution, as the building materials industry in Europe was slow to get online. The project, which began three years ago, included the development of the frontend and backend of the eCommerce solution, as well as training of the eCommerce personnel. The company began with the Magento community edition and is currently switching to the Magento enterprise edition. The project is ongoing and has cost approximately $1 million so far.

A boutique retailer specializing in custom sneakers hired Vaimo to address a complex inventory issue where each product had a different owner. The project involved significant design work and Magento customization. The company was particularly impressed with Vaimo's visual acumen. While Vaimo handled the majority of the work, the retailer's backend integration was managed by another vendor based in New York. The retailer continues to use Vaimo's services for ongoing maintenance and support.
