Highlights from Recent Projects
Uptime Development partnered with Dekra Poland, a branch of a German company that assesses vehicles, to develop a mobile app for logistics and leasing companies. The app provides a list of questions and checkboxes for operators, collects data about a vehicle's main features, general state, damages, and client details, and delivers this information directly to logistics or conflict management personnel. The app also allows for scanning a vehicle’s documents. The collaboration started in 2008 and the cost of the project was around €25,000–€30,000 per year.
In another project, Uptime Development worked with a global leasing company to develop a mobile app for their sales force. This offline solution was designed to decrease the time of preparing financial quotes for end users and customers, and be easily scalable and accessible for external partners. The team incorporated the company's Excel guidelines into their programming and development and created an integrated and sophisticated calculation engine. The project started in July 2016 and was completed in April 2017.
Uptime Development also collaborated with Polpharma, the largest Polish producer of drugs and pharmaceutical substances, to digitize the data about employees and their contacts with harmful substances. The team developed a solution that would facilitate the process of registering employees' exposure to harmful substances in a digital form, enhancing the security and persistence of the data. The project team consisted of approximately seven people from Uptime Development, including a dedicated project manager, engineers, and designers.
