Uptic IO LLC was hired by SAG Health Centres, a healthcare company serving 92,000 patients in Amsterdam, to enhance their internal IT infrastructure. The project aimed to empower healthcare staff across 18 health centers with a unified, mobile-friendly intranet for tools, policies, and communication. Uptic was chosen due to its proximity to the client, budget-friendly pricing, and alignment with company values. The team of 2-5 employees from Uptic developed a React front-end intranet named "SAGBook" which featured centralized search, a staff directory, and self-service tools for over 400 professionals. They also re-architected the IT environment on Microsoft Azure, integrated Azure Active Directory for secure access, and modernized device lifecycle and connectivity for low-ops infrastructure. Uptic's efforts resulted in a secure, scalable, low-maintenance platform that allowed SAG's internal IT team to focus on strategy and innovation. The project also strengthened data protection and role-based access, meeting compliance requirements and supporting flexible, hybrid working across locations.
