Upside successfully partnered with Framebridge, a custom picture-framing company, to enhance their platform communication. The project involved integrating two platforms, Gladly and Formstack, to improve their customer relationship management and form-gathering system. Upside custom-wrote and directly tied the Formstack API for the client, with the project costing around $13,000. The project began in August 2021 and was completed by February 2022. Framebridge was extremely satisfied with Upside's competitive quote, excellent communication, and detailed project outline, leading them to sign on for additional projects.

In another project, Upside worked with Score Digital, a full-service digital product development agency. The task involved designing and developing a website for a new product concept. Upside utilized Webflow to create the UX/UI design, based on a brief provided by Score Digital. Upside's team, led by a UX/UI designer, offered several design options created using Adobe and Figma. The finalized design was then translated into Webflow. The project, which started in December 2021, cost around $15,000 and is ongoing. Score Digital chose Upside for their design skills, impressive portfolio, and proximity to their office.

Upside was also hired by the University of Toronto to develop a Django-based web application for a secure data platform. The platform, aimed at sharing deidentified health datasets, required Upside to migrate the existing platform to work natively on cloud infrastructure and develop user-centric features. The project entailed porting the current deployment from server-based to cloud-based, expanding user management features, and building out audit log and alerting functionality to meet cybersecurity requirements. Upside's team of 2-5 employees was selected for their competitive pricing, great culture fit, and alignment with the university's values.
