Upside

Upside completed an IT consulting and custom software development project for Framebridge, a custom picture-framing company. The project involved addressing communication between the company's two platforms, Gladly and Formstack. Upside successfully linked the Formstack API and custom wrote it for Framebridge, enabling seamless communication between the two systems. The project, which involved the entire Upside team, was completed in February 2022 at a cost of around $13,000. Framebridge expressed satisfaction with the results and the excellent communication from Upside, leading to further projects.

In another project, Upside partnered with Score Digital, a full-service digital product development agency, to develop a website for a new concept. The project involved designing and developing the website's UX/UI in Webflow. Upside worked closely with the client, providing several design options created using Adobe and Figma. The process was led by a UX/UI designer and a project manager. The project, which started in December 2021, is ongoing and has thus far cost around $15,000. The client chose Upside due to their impressive portfolio, design skills, and proximity.

Upside also worked with the University of Toronto for a web application development project. The project involved migrating an existing platform to work natively on cloud infrastructure and developing features that satisfy user requirements. The team of 2-5 employees from Upside developed a Django based web application, ported the current deployment from server-based to cloud base, expanded user management features, and built out audit log and alerting functionality to meet cybersecurity requirements. The client selected Upside due to their budget-friendly pricing, culture fit, good value for cost, and aligned company values.
