Highlights from Recent Projects
Up2Code was hired by VeloChair, a hybrid wheelchair company, to provide web design support. The team was responsible for developing the frontend of the website, adding various features like a purchasing option. They also provided online advertising support, helped with Facebook Ad campaigns and established a Google Analytics account. They continue to make updates to the site as needed. The engagement, which began in 2017, is ongoing with 2-3 people, including a designer and developers, assisting with the website. The company has invested between $7,000-$10,000 in this project.
Loudscore, a restaurant app startup, collaborated with Up2Code for app development. Up2Code created a beta version of the app in iOS and were involved in every aspect of the planning process, including deciding the app's look, name, and logo. The initial phase of the app was focused on New York University (NYU), and Up2Code conducted a survey of various students to get their input on the content. The app was designed to encourage more regular reviews than other sites so users wouldn’t see months-old reviews. The project, which cost about $55,000, took place from May 2017–September 2018.
Yes Yogi, a site for yoga instructors, engaged Up2Code for website development. After receiving design mockups and business requirements, Up2Code conducted research on the yoga market and brought their own insights from their experience in web development. They developed the site from scratch on AWS and built custom features, including the ability to add videos to instructor profiles and designation between interfaces for instructors and job posters. The project, which cost about $11,000, was completed from April 2018–January 2019 with a project manager, a user experience person, and two developers from Up2Code.
