Untold Studio

Untold Studio provided web and app development support for United Natural Foods. The company's digital properties were spread across several platforms and servers, and Untold Studio was tasked with consolidating them under one platform. They analyzed the existing websites and applications and devised a plan to use Drupal as the sole platform. Untold Studio also assisted in building a supplier portal and provided strategic consultation about mobile development. The project, which started in 2013, was still ongoing when the client left the company. The client had invested between $500,000 and $1,000,000 in total.

In another project, Untold Studio was hired by United Natural Foods to enhance their Supplier Portal. The aim was to rebuild a legacy system that would allow suppliers to schedule their fleets for delivery at distribution centers. The project required the creation of a frontend layer that could interface seamlessly with legacy systems and integrate into the existing cloud-based supplier portal. The team from Untold Studio built out micro-services, Angular2 code, and an enhanced CI/CD pipeline for smooth delivery. They were able to deliver on time and adapt to necessary changes as they were revealed during iterative testing.

Nokia Bell Labs engaged Untold Studio to help develop a product concept. The in-house team had developed a prototype of a software system, and Untold Studio was tasked with turning it into an actual product. The software included a client side, which was a mobile application, and a web app. Untold Studio helped with the applications for iOS and Android as well as the web app, using Swift for the iOS app, Kotlin and RxJava for the Android side, and React JS for the web app. They also assisted with QA and testing. The project started in 2016 and recently concluded, with Nokia Bell Labs investing between $1–5 million.
