Unit Circle was engaged by CUE Audio to address connectivity challenges in stadiums and arenas. The aim was to synchronize devices for fan engagement using ultrasonic audio from the speakers. Before Unit Circle's involvement, CUE Audio had a rudimentary system that lacked resilience and performance. Unit Circle was tasked with enhancing the performance and stability of this system. The project, which lasted from January 2018 to October 2019, involved the use of C++, digital signal processing, Python prototyping, and the creation of iOS, Android, and Linux wrappers. The team also developed tests, a deployment pipeline, and different build systems. The result was a state-of-the-art, peak optimal performing system. The project saw an investment of over $250,000 and involved a team led by Pi, the founder of Unit Circle.
