Unagi Software

Unagi Software was hired by BlackBook Travels, a travel and hospitality company based in Singapore, to augment their technology team. The goal was to work on new features and refactor old modules using tools such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, MySQL, Ansible, and AWS. The company was chosen for their great culture fit and aligned company values. A team of 2-5 employees from Unagi Software was assigned to this project, which involved enhancing the server component of BlackBook Travels' product and improving its performance.

In a separate project, Unagi Software was tasked with custom software development for a hospitality and leisure company that provides a platform for purchasing nightlife products. The company found Unagi Software through a referral from a U.S. consulting firm. A team of 2-5 employees from Unagi Software was assigned to this project. The scope of work included rewriting a website for ticket purchasing and redemption in TypeScript and Node, and adding new features to a backend dashboard and the ticketing site itself.

Clio, a company that creates generative AI products for travel and retail e-commerce, hired Unagi Software to add features to a consumer-facing web and mobile app and explore additional business opportunities. Unagi Software was selected for their great culture fit, aligned company values, and a referral. A team of 2-5 employees from Unagi Software was assigned to this project. The scope of work involved a major transition from a consumer mobile app for group travel planning to a generative AI product for businesses built on OpenAI's API.
