Highlights from Recent Projects
Ueno was contracted by a publishing company to augment the existing team and help deliver several features on time. The company's Product & Design lead found Ueno via Dribble, a design community platform, and was impressed with their strategic thinking and high-quality work. Ueno was tasked with developing a visual system that would tie everything together, contributing to the visual design, interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping. Despite the original project being completed, the company continues to engage Ueno for similar needs when they are available.
Reuters TV enlisted Ueno's help to launch a new TV service. Ueno's reputation and the quality of their team, led by Creative Director Haraldur Thorleifsson, were key factors in their selection. They were responsible for promoting the project, leading the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) work, and providing support for marketing and sales development. The product was released on multiple platforms including iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, web, and Android. The work with Ueno is ongoing.
Dropbox, a tech company offering cloud storage and file synchronization, partnered with Ueno to redesign their community platform. The aim was to solve both visual and technical problems to improve user experience. Ueno's involvement included a complete redesign of the forums, adding new features, and defining the ideal user interface and user journey. The project, which cost between $40,000 and $70,000, is now completed. Ueno was chosen for this project due to their successful collaboration with Dropbox on a previous project.
