Highlights from Recent Projects
UDEV HUB successfully completed an IT staff augmentation project for Mawi Solutions, a medical device manufacturer. They assisted with infrastructure, security, and IT-related services, helping to migrate the company's infrastructure to AWS without any downtime. The project was designed to allow companies to provide employees with devices to measure their biosignals and complete daily questionnaires. This solution enabled employers to monitor employee health and determine their ability to work or need for medical attention, including COVID-19 testing. The team comprised of three professionals, including DevOps engineers. Mawi Solutions invested $12,000 in this engagement that began in June 2020.
UDEV HUB was contracted by Calypso AI, an AI-based security firm, to develop a visually appealing front-end for a new app. The main goal of the project was to visually display and summarize information from Calypso’s RESTful API. The front-end part of the project was developed from scratch using Angular 8.2, Owl carousel, plugins for graphing, and functionality for image comparison. The team for this project consisted of two Front-end Angular2 developers, one manager, and a QA tester. The project was completed successfully, meeting the client's tight deadline.
For OUTFORZE, a company providing real-time analysis of product placement on store shelves, UDEV HUB developed an AI for image recognition. The goal was to create an AI capable of recognizing SKU under various angles of view and lighting conditions with over 85% success rate. The project was delivered on a turnkey basis, beginning with the technical task and ending with the final product. The development process involved several iterations before achieving a high-level result. The client's main point of contact was two team members, with the focus on the result rather than the team composition.
