Ubik Group

Ubik Group was hired by a Financial Services company to provide project management and engineering services for the development of a web platform. The platform was designed to provide tools and information to support small businesses and communities throughout the USA. Ubik Group's team, consisting of a Tech PM and Product Analyst, developed the end-to-end site experience for one of the longest-running corporate social responsibility programs in the US. The project was successful, with the platform being well-received by its users.

In a collaboration with a blockchain platform company, Ubik Group developed smart contracts and assisted with user acceptance testing integrations and testing. The team of three senior engineers from Ubik Group built an application on top of the client's platform, STRATO, to foster transparency and compliance in the supply chain. The project, which started in April 2017, is ongoing and has been successful in sharing information across a large ecosystem.

Working with OTONOMI, an insurance startup, Ubik Group was contracted to build a minimum viable product (MVP) to help the company present and sell the MVP to customers to raise money for the business. Using KONG and Node.js for the platform’s API, Ubik Group built two dashboards and a sophisticated state management backend system for insurance and digital policies. The project, which started in November 2020, is ongoing and has seen an investment of $80,000, with the expectation to exceed $100,000 as the contract continues.
