u2i collaborated with a literacy nonprofit to improve and maintain their web-based application. The client was dissatisfied with their previous software firm and sought a team that could offer a fresh approach. u2i took charge of the app development, creating both the front- and backend, including an automated SMS feature that sends reminders to parents about improving their children's reading habits. Apart from development work, u2i also assisted with product strategy and design. The project, which began in March 2019, is still ongoing with nearly $200,000 invested so far.
The company also worked with a money lending company to design an intuitive, user-friendly web application that could help the company scale efficiently. u2i's involvement included researching users, creating wireframes and prototypes, and designing an underwriting portal for the web app. The project started in November 2019 and ended in January 2020, with the client investing between $10,000 and $15,000.
