The U & I brand consulting/development worked with a clothing line specializing in women's contemporary fashion. The clothing line owner chose a three-style package from U & I's offerings, after which a production calendar was set up marking all crucial dates for the project. The U & I team, led by Sheila, then worked on converting the client's sketches and designs into flat sketches, tech packages, and patterns for the first prototype. The first samples were received within two weeks of the initial design meeting. After revisions and changes, a second round of samples was produced, with which the client was satisfied. The engagement lasted from January–April 2018 and the client spent between $3,000–$5,000.
U & I brand consulting/development was hired by a restaurant and bakery group for the development and manufacture of a line of front of house aprons. The client aimed to replace generic aprons with more fashionable, functional ones. Sheila, founder of U & I, worked directly with the client throughout the development, while her partner handled the technical aspects of the design. The result was a line of signature aprons for the restaurant group's multiple locations.
