Highlights from Recent Projects
Tractor was contracted by the San Francisco SPCA, an animal welfare nonprofit, to redesign their outdated website. The goal was to improve site navigation, content, and the donations section. Tractor took on the challenge and restructured the website from scratch, providing a comprehensive strategy, wireframes, and a reorganization of the layout. The team created designs and features that were compatible with Drupal for another vendor to implement. They conducted extensive research internally and externally, interviewing various departments involved, gathering and sharing information, and studying the best practices for online donations from similar organizations. One of the key features Tractor developed was an interactive piece that enables site visitors to adopt animals, which has become the most used function on the site. The project was carried out by a team of five, including a project manager, from April to August 2016.
