Highlights from Recent Projects
Totem.Tech was hired by an aerospace and defense manufacturing organization to assist with the challenging task of becoming compliant to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Totem's expertise in cybersecurity and available solutions in the market greatly impressed the client. The project involved the use of various templates provided by Totem to define the boundaries of the IT structure and the necessary controls required. Totem's team worked closely with IT representatives and the ISO from the client's side, covering all controls and helping to implement effective, compliant solutions. The client felt that Totem's efforts will adequately prepare them to pass the coming certification audits.
In another project, Totem.Tech provided NIST 800-171 compliance support to a metal finishing and coating services provider. The client's Director of IT attended a cybersecurity live course conducted by Totem, aimed at helping the client comply with NIST 800-171. The course was recommended by Adam Austin, a presenter at a webinar the client had attended. The classes, which were held twice per week over a three-week period, provided guidelines and tools to translate the NIST 800-171 specification into manageable actions using real-world examples. The client appreciated the small and intimate class size and found the course highly interesting, engaging, and informative.
