Highlights from Recent Projects
Totem.Tech was contracted by an aerospace and defense manufacturing organization to assist with the challenging task of achieving compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The goal was to achieve Level 3 certification, a task beyond the capabilities of the company's IT team. Totem.Tech impressed the company with their knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and solutions that would meet the controls and satisfy audit requirements. They utilized various templates to define the boundaries of the IT structure and necessary controls, covering all 130 controls with CMMC L3. Representatives from the client's IT and ISO teams were actively involved throughout the project. The company expressed strong belief that Totem.Tech was helping them identify and avoid risk, and would adequately prepare them for the certification audits.
A metal finishing and coating services provider hired Totem.Tech for a cybersecurity live course related to NIST 800-171 compliance and CMMC certification preparation. The goal was to understand what needed to be done to comply with NIST 800-171. The course, conducted by Adam Austin, was chosen due to his engaging and informative presentation at a large-scale webinar. The classes were held twice a week over three weeks, and provided guidelines and tools to translate the NIST 800-171 specification into manageable actions. The small class size consisted of similar IT administrators. The client found the course most interesting, engaging, and informative.
