Torchwerks collaborated with Omaha Permaculture, a Nebraska-based nonprofit organization, on a branding strategy project to define and communicate the organization's identity. The organization, which promotes sustainable ecosystems by transforming vacant land into thriving gardens, sought Torchwerks' expertise to hone their core messaging. Torchwerks produced a four-minute video featuring interviews with city officials and Karen refugees, who operate the organization's most successful gardens. The video, which included an original score composed by a musician sourced by Torchwerks, helped articulate Omaha Permaculture's mission and goals. The project, which lasted from September to November 2019, was primarily a donation of labor by the Torchwerks team, valued between $5000-$7000. The only paid contributor was an independent director brought in for supplemental editing.
