Tonic

Tonic worked on a project for Pivot Energy, a solar company, to develop a cloud platform from scratch. The platform serves as a billing and customer interface for the company's community solar services. It allows customers to sign up for services, pay bills, track solar ray production, and access news updates. The platform, which integrates with several APIs with utilities and payment platforms, is continuously being expanded with new features. The project, which began in January 2018, is still ongoing with an investment of between $1 million to $10 million. The client is satisfied with Tonic's services and continues to engage with them.

In another project, Tonic provided app development and consulting services for Sofia Family, a digital parenting platform. They improved the iOS coding, modified the VPN infrastructure, and offered agile coaching for the project manager. The technologies used included iOS, Swift, Python, Linux, strongSwan, SQL, and Squid. The project, which ran from March to May 2021, cost around $30,000. The client was happy with the professionalism and technical expertise provided by Tonic.

Tonic also worked with Stashlete Inc., a company that provides a round-up model for fan engagement within college sports. Tonic helped create an MVP web application and is currently working on the second phase which includes the web app build. The project, which started in March 2023, has cost the client about $75,000 so far. The client is pleased with Tonic's guidance and the patentable features of the app, which include Stripe API integration and a multi-selector option.
