Thinkport GmbH provided Cloud Consulting Services for a large international agricultural company. Faced with the challenge of manual data transfers and human-based screenings in their R&D processes, the agricultural company engaged Thinkport GmbH to utilize AI algorithms in the cloud for better, more sustainable product development. A team from Thinkport, consisting of one cloud architect, nine cloud engineers, and a project owner, provided complete consulting services ranging from AWS-based cloud architectural infrastructure planning, CI/CD integration, custom development of serverless applications, database evaluation, and data mapping. The success of the proof-of-concept led to the deployment and scaling of the solution across multiple entities of the agricultural company.

In another project, Thinkport GmbH provided Cloud Services for a Business Intelligence Software Company based in Frankfurt. The startup was looking to compile different data sources to better understand firms, particularly small and medium-sized firms that do not publish turnover figures. Thinkport was tasked with developing a clean database, a working model, and algorithm, and deploying all that in the cloud. The team's expertise in modeling, developing a clean data set, and in cloud structure and development was key in setting up the AWS cloud infrastructure plus the frontend, enabling a good connection between backend data and frontend connectivity. The project, which began in April 2020, was budgeted at $30,000-$40,000, and as of the last update, was still ongoing, with the client expressing satisfaction with Thinkport's work and considering options for expanding their work with other partners.
