Theodo

Theodo was hired by a financial services organization in Wales to develop an online quote engine for car finance. The platform was built from scratch using AWS, JavaScript, and Python, and integrated with the company's backend. Theodo also incorporated various external features, including a car web service, standard financing, and an HPI Check to verify a vehicle's history. The project was a success, with Theodo managing the company's technical infrastructure until it was ready to be taken over in-house. The project lasted from January 2017 to April 2019 and cost approximately $611,000 USD.

Tempcover, an insurance company, engaged Theodo to create a new mobile app for iOS and Android. Theodo delivered a user-friendly, intuitive app that aimed to transition repeat customers from the web to the app. The team utilized React Native, which enabled simultaneous building of the apps, thus reducing cost and time. Theodo’s alignment with Tempcover’s work style and their expertise were key factors in their selection. The engagement lasted from December 2019 to March 2020, culminating in a successful beta release of the app.

Theodo was contracted by a leasing company to develop a sophisticated software solution to increase automation efficiency. The solution comprised 20 different modules controlling back-office and operational functions, including inventory management, bank account reconciliation, and invoice management. Initially hired for frontend development using React Redux, Theodo’s role expanded to full-stack development over time. The project, which started in January 2018, is ongoing and has cost between $500,000 and $1 million. Theodo's methodology and team members have left a strong impression on the client.
