Highlights from Recent Projects
Theodo worked with a financial services company in Wales to develop an online quote engine for car finance. The team, comprised of a scrum master, architect and two developers, built the platform using AWS, JavaScript and Python, and integrated it with a number of external features such as a car web service and an HPI check. The platform was designed to plug into the company's backend system. Over the course of the two-year project, the company invested approximately $611,000 USD in Theodo's services.
Theodo was hired by Tempcover, an insurance company, to create a mobile application for iOS and Android. They opted for a single React Native app to provide a slick user experience. The team delivered an easy-to-use, intuitive app that moved repeat customers away from expensive PPC ads on the web. The project ran from December 2019 to March 2020, during which a beta release of the app was made.
A leasing company engaged Theodo to develop a custom software solution to automate and streamline their operations. Theodo built 20 different modules controlling back-office and operational functions, including inventory management, bank account reconciliation, and invoice management. The project, which started in January 2018 and is still ongoing, has cost the leasing company between $500,000 and $1 million. The team began with frontend development using React Redux before expanding to full-stack development.
