TechAhead was hired by Leroy Merlin South Africa to develop an e-commerce mobile app. The app was created from scratch and integrated into the company's backend systems. It is a cross-platform mobile shopping app that aligns with the company's existing in-store and online ecosystems. The app features include a product catalog, advanced filtering, a store locator, push notifications, and more. Post-launch support was provided for bug fixes and minor updates. The app aimed to meet specific success metrics and KPIs, such as a minimum app store rating of 4.4 stars and a minimum conversion rate of 1.75%. TechAhead's team of 5-7 members communicated with the client via Microsoft Teams.
TechAhead developed a custom app for an electrical and technology solutions company. The app, which runs in a Linux environment, was created following a series of meetings to discuss requirements and updates. The UI was completed in around six weeks, after which the team began implementing the app and coding it using Flutter. The project involved a general manager, technical leader, project manager, senior software engineer, business analyst, and QA analyst. The engagement, which started in April 2025, is still ongoing.
For JoyJam, a mobile app in the creator economy industry, TechAhead designed and developed their mobile app. The platform is built on mobile technology for Apple and Google mobile development, using Flutter and Node.js. TechAhead also provided a comprehensive analysis of the project, including associated costs. They are currently in a postproduction role, providing ongoing engineering, production support, infrastructure support, and monitoring and maintenance of all technology components. The partnership, which started in June 2024, is ongoing.
