Highlights from Recent Projects
Teal Media was engaged by ANCOR, a nonprofit trade association, to overhaul their company and foundation websites. The websites were outdated and difficult to navigate, requiring a more user-friendly design. Teal Media completely redeveloped the websites, integrating a new resource library and a full integration of the association management system. This integration allowed the member database to be fully integrated into the websites, enabling users to access and log in through a single sign-on system. The websites were built and customized in WordPress, with Teal Media also developing the custom integrations needed for the three platforms to be linked. The project to rebuild both sites cost around $140,000 and Teal Media continues to provide website maintenance and hosting services for around $10,000 per year.
The University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab hired Teal Media to design and develop their websites and create design templates and collateral. The project involved a comprehensive scope of work including discovery and planning, user experience and information architecture, content preparation, website development, testing and QA, and post-launch support. The website was built with WordPress CMS administration, third-party service integrations, privacy and security standards, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and was optimized with SEO best practices. The project was delivered by a team of 6-10 employees from Teal Media.
The Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School engaged Teal Media to build a new website for the center and develop a new website for one of their sub-programs, The Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia. The old website was outdated and didn't meet the center's needs. Teal Media redeveloped the center's website and developed a new website for the sub-program using WordPress. Their work included UI/UX design, information architecture, and development. Teal Media continues to provide website maintenance services. The project was managed by a project manager along with Teal Media's design and development teams.
