TDSOFT

TDSOFT, upon being hired by Spotlight Sports Group, undertook a project to create widgets and modules for showcasing sports content for their clients. Spotlight Sports Group, a company that delivers sports content for online and retail bookmakers and affiliates, found TDSOFT through referral, impressed by their high ratings, price range, and shared company values. A team of 6 to 10 employees from TDSOFT worked on the project focusing extensively on usability, re-usability and responsive design to cater to both punter and analyst needs.

Detailing the project, TDSOFT designed a library of SSG modules, which included in-play widgets for soccer, pre-play widgets for various other sports, and horse racing modules. These were repurposed across Spotlight Sports Group properties, including Racing Post. Additionally, a full React component library was developed, enabling new betting products to leverage the same building blocks rather than starting from scratch. Real-time data feed integration was also integrated with responsive design ensuring a similar user experience on both desktop and mobile platforms.

The outcome of the project was successful, resulting in increased efficiency as the editorial content could now convey betting context without having to rebuild the underlying platform. The library of sports data widgets serves not just Spotlight Sports Group's ecosystem but can be embedded on any website. The collaborative effort between TDSOFT and Spotlight Sports Group resulted in a solution that seamlessly met both punter and analyst needs, aligning perfectly with the goals set by Spotlight Sports Group.
