Highlights from Recent Projects
TBG (The Berndt Group) partnered with a 13-hospital system in Maryland to implement a high-quality content management system that would meet the current and future needs of the medical system. The project, which cost around $500,000, involved creating a framework for a system that could handle multiple websites and intranets for each hospital. The system also integrated content feeds from a vendor, incorporating approximately 30,000 pages of health education materials. The first website went live about 10 months after the project began. The client was pleased with TBG's deep technical expertise, flexibility, and creativity, and continues to retain them for ongoing support.
TBG worked with the Children's National Medical Center in Washington to create a new enterprise-class website. The $1.2 million project involved a discovery process, strategy development, and the construction of the site from scratch. TBG recommended Sitecore as the best content management system to meet the center's needs. The client appreciated TBG's holistic approach to technology solutions and their expertise in both technical areas and business strategy. The project is still ongoing, with the go-live date scheduled for June 21, 2014.
The American Montessori Society (AMS) engaged TBG to help communicate the value of their services to various stakeholder groups. TBG, who the AMS views as a full-blown digital agency and thinking partner, is currently doing a full redesign of the AMS website. This involves building over three dozen mobile-responsive templates and developing a strategy brief to inform the new website's functions and messaging. The project, which will cost between $200,000 and $350,000, is expected to be completed in January 2019. The AMS appreciates TBG's willingness to go beyond just web development and their strong working relationship.
