Tardigrada Design Studio

Tardigrada Design Studio was contracted by Kelly Deck Design to create branding for a potential spin-off company, SPADE & PLATE, a gardening and lifestyle ecommerce concept. The team from Tardigrada, comprised of co-owners and operators Shan and Maria, crafted a comprehensive branding package that included typefaces, a logo, business cards, hang tags, shipping labels, illustration assets, colors, design/brand use guidelines, and social media assets and guidelines. The client chose Tardigrada based on the artful and passionate approach they displayed in their previous works.

An advocacy group hired Tardigrada Design Studio for graphic design, specifically for character creation and poster design. The project scope expanded and Tardigrada was also tasked with designing a board game, creating artwork, 3D models, animation for short videos, UX/UI design for their website, and other graphic design elements. Maria and Shan, co-founders and designers at Tardigrada, provided these services. The designs for the website and characters were created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Character Animator, respectively. The client had worked with Maria prior to Tardigrada's establishment and has continued the collaboration, investing between $7,500–$18,800 USD since January 2021.

Mawi Design, an architecture, interior, and landscape design consultancy firm, hired Tardigrada Design Studio for branding services. The goal was to create a logo, establish a visual language for the brand, and produce branding collateral and a website. Maria and Shanmugam, co-founders of Tardigrada, delivered on this scope, providing a brand logo, visual language package, visiting cards, letterheads, sketch pads, and a website. The client chose Tardigrada based on their social media presence and the resonance they felt with the firm's work.
